First of all, Timmie is short for Timothea. I was named after my Dad Timothy. That usually is the first question I get from someone I meet after they find out I'm a female.
I moved to North Carolina in 1997 from upstate New York. My employment background is accounting and Human Resources. I worked full-time while attending North Carolina State University part-time from 2000-2005. I graduated with a degree in Business Management. I married my high school sweetheart and we have a daughter. I live in Raleigh with my husband Matt, daughter Madison, dog ESPN, and two cats Brooksie and Hannah.
I have always been interested in Real Estate. My husband and I bought our first house in 2001, our second and third in 2003, our fourth in 2004 and we are currently in the house we purchased in 2006. We have sold two and we rent two. In 2007 I decided to get my real estate license. My step father and I bought a house that was boarded up, run down and uninhabitable. We thought we would give "flipping" a try. It was a great challenge and also rewarding. The neighbors were thankful that we turned a run down building in to a home for someone.
Every transaction I donate a portion of my commission to six charities, Special Olympics of North Carolina, Second Chance Pet Adoption, Hapitat for Humanity, Susan G. Komen, Me Fine, and Frankie Lemmon.
I believe success starts with a positive attitude. Actually getting through life is all about attitude and I know I could not do it without surrounding myself with friends, family and clients that carry the same attitude as I do. I don't specialize in any specific area in North Carolina or any specific client group. I work with all buyers and sellers that match my personality. Customer service is #1 to me! I am 100% dedicated to every client and I believe communication is key in an arena with so much competition.
I look forward to working with you.
